HIMCOM: Where Learning Meets Leadership — A Day at the Parliament, A Classroom Inside the Parliament
At HIMCOM, education is not limited to textbooks, lectures, or traditional classroom boundaries. The institution strongly believes that true learning happens when students step into the real world and witness the systems, institutions, and industries they study in action. Continuing this commitment to experiential learning, HIMCOM students recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the Parliament of India—an experience that turned one of the country’s most powerful institutions into a live classroom of knowledge, leadership, and inspiration. The visit was designed to help students gain firsthand exposure to the legislative framework of the nation. While topics related to governance, democracy, policymaking, and leadership are often discussed in classrooms, seeing these processes connected to the institution where national decisions are shaped gave students a much deeper understanding of how the country functions.
